One of the more amusing thing I have encountered (especially online ), is how shamelessly some younger people lie. Some of the reasons they do so is that
- they think that they can get away with it.
- they do not respect the person who they are telling the lie to
- they think that the person who is lied to is a fool
- their family background and upbringing
- their peer group
When you confront them and ask them to provide proof to support their lies, they have no answer.
